The conference attracted distinguished participants from government, academia, the aviation industry, the legal profession, and international organizations. The event was honoured by the participation of His Excellency, President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, GCFR, as Distinguished Special Guest of Honour, alongside governors, senior government officials, aviation regulators, industry leaders, and renowned scholars from Nigeria and abroad.
The conference provided a platform for addressing critical issues affecting aviation safety, information security, international business investment, tourism development, legal liability in air transportation, and strategies for enhancing economic growth and security within Nigeria and the African sub-region.
Notable speakers included senior officials of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), distinguished academics from the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and leading legal practitioners, including Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
